The Bus Theater is a double-decker bus that transforms into a large traveling theater
It produces, creates and distributes theatrical and musical shows, and new circus performances. In continuity with the Grubus Theater, Ilaria Cecere (actress/performer), Roberta Ferraro (sociologist) and Alessio Ferrara (performer), in 2015 decided to put this singular traveling space, which had been standing still for a few years, back on the road. The Bus Theater, back on the road, hosts not only theatrical and musical shows, but also socio-cultural artistic and alternative promotion events. The Bus Theater is a way to make the road the link between artists, people, cultural operators, and communities. A crossroads where the adventure of travel, the extraordinary nature of encounters and the magic of theater come true. A theater that reaches historic centers as well as peripheral areas of cities or the countryside, places not beaten by traditional circuits and areas lacking adequate facilities.
