The fourth edition of EUROPA Cinema al femminile celebrates the talent of European female directors through a program rich in stories of courage, identity and emancipation. The festival promotes cinema directed by women, offering a space for meeting and dialogue on the challenges and daily experiences that unite us, beyond national borders. This year the selection explores the dimension of being a woman and the path that leads to its affirmation. Many of the films tell the world through the eyes of the young protagonists, exploring adolescence, but also issues related to motherhood and pregnancy. These stories, balanced between individual and collective experience, lead us on a journey that embraces different cultures, languages and geographies, providing a polyphonic and nuanced picture. Each film offers food for thought on the role of women in society, in the family, at work, but also in the inner world and in desires, contributing to the definition of a European perspective. Among the works on the program, stand out stories of young women struggling to define their own identity, as in *Diada* by Yana Titova, and stories of loneliness, illness and self-discovery, as in *Senza prova* by Béatrice Pollet and *Club Zero* by Jessica Hausner. The festival is also enriched with documentaries and biographies, such as *La Singla* by Paloma Zapata, which tells the life of the deaf dancer who revolutionized flamenco, and *Tempo d’attesa* by Claudia Brignone, which explores the world of pregnant women, between waiting and hope. With this edition, we continue to believe in cinema as a tool for social and cultural change. We invite you to discover these stories that speak of the world seen through the eyes of women, protagonists of a new European cinematic renaissance.
